Originally trained in design and communications, Val has been an entrepreneur and sales/marketing executive most of her career. Currently, she is an active Rodan+Fields executive consultant.
Although creativity and art have been a constant in her life she didn’t start painting until 2013. The medium she uses is Acrylic and her style varies from realism to abstract expressionism… pretty well whatever moves her at the moment. Most often subject matter is from her garden or other flowers she finds in her travels to Italy, England and France. Other inspiration comes from natural settings.
Her other passions are gardening, cooking, dancing and fitness.
